It all started after a 10 week trip to Alaska in 2009. I had taken 2700 photos and Two For The Road Photography became a reality. I originally put photos on canvas as well as making beautiful greeting cards on premium basket weave card stock. It was when we moved to southern Oregon that another phase of my creative life began. I learned that I could paint - starting with watercolors - and became consumed! Then I decided to add acrylics to my bag of tricks. I often say " I paint like a " crazy woman"! and my collection of work grows almost daily.
I hope you've taken a few minutes to see what I've included here. I love hearing from visitors, and of course, if you have inquiries about purchasing originals, fine quality prints or sets of cards, I'll be happy to help !
Art has always fascinated me. I promised myself when I retired from my 33 years of teaching elementary school, I would take classes and begin a new adventure. This is how it's turned out so far!
Photography was how it all started- putting photos on canvas. I added watercolor paintings in 2014, and acrylics in 2016. I'm constantly learning new techniques, stretching my creative limits.
